REMINDERS HCC2: All students must take HCC 2; there is no option to "substitute" (this applies to students that were admitted post-Fall 2025). 8001/8002: Students will need to confirm to their advisor that they attended HCC seminar at least half the session of the semester +1. SERVICE: students must confer with their advisor regarding the service requirement. The advisor will need to confirm that the student has completed a service activity.

If an HCC student is switching to CS, can they substitute HCC1 for CS 7001?
Yes, you can substitute HCC1 for CS 7001 if you successfully completed HCC1. Please send email to Theresa Nash so that she can indicate this in your records.
