I have a LX100. To enter service mode, Hold Right, Display, and AE/AF Lock buttons while turning on the camera. Then release them when the camera is on. Then go to Playback. Then hold Up and AE/AF Lock while turning off the camera. You will see a yellow triangle while everytime you turn off a camera that is in service mode.
In service mode, you can shoot longer video. (Only for certain format)
